The big celebrity was of course big brother Michael Schumacher, but also the younger Ralf Schumacher has built up a nice career in motorsport. At the moment, however, the German is no longer behind the wheel.

Schumacher made his debut with Jordan in 1997, but was particularly impressive during his period with Williams. There Ralf managed to win six victories, which would never happen again with another team. After three years at Toyota, Schumacher left the sport to participate in the DTM for another five years.

No return to the top

Eight years after his last season at the DTM, Schumacher still hasn't regretted his departure. Where son David will participate in Formula 3 in 2020, Ralf prefers to stay away from racing. ''Racing is now completely behind me. Everything has had its time at some point'', says the German in conversation with Bild.

Schumacher doesn't rule out that he will ever get into a car again, but only for fun. ''At a certain point you have to learn that you don't have to be competitive anymore, because then you're going to make a fool of yourself'', concludes the German.
