Lando Norris doesn't look forward to driving in front of an empty Silverstone. The British driver thinks this will make Silverstone's special disappear altogether. Today it was announced that if there will be a Grand Prix at Silverstone, it will be held without an audience. The driver of McLaren is not satisfied with this.

"Silverstone is one of my favorite circuits and that's not just because it's my home Grand Prix," Norris told Mirror. "If it's done behind closed doors it's going to be very unusual because there's no one in the stands and you don't hear a sound from them".

They have to make the right decision

"I have no idea when we're gonna race again. There's not much I can do, and besides, I'm not the one who has to make the decisions. As long as they make the right decision and don't just think that we, as Formula 1 drivers, want to go back to work and race," Norris continued. "They also need to think about the fans and the impact the decisions will have."

Norris realizes how difficult the situation is right now and the decisions that have to be made. "It's difficult because we all want to get back on the track as soon as possible. However, it is a big risk to get back to work too early, which can have a negative impact for many. It is a difficult decision for the people who have to make them", Norris concludes.
