On Tuesday evening several drivers came back into action for the second night of The Race for the World. Charles Leclerc and Alexander Albon managed to win, but the most important was the increasing amount of money. The counter now stands at $48,000.

Leclerc versus Norris

The Race for the World Championship is hosted on Codemasters' F1 2019 game and was created by F1 drivers to raise money for charity. Together they want to raise 100,000 euros for the World Health Organization and on Sunday evening it started well with already 33,000 dollars.

The races themselves are less important for the drivers, although of course they always want to win. The first event was won by Arthur Leclerc, but this time it was the turn of his brother Charles. Suprisingly, Luca Albon (yes, Alex his brother) got a pole for the first race, but Leclerc and Lando Norris fought for the victory in the end.

An Albon podium

It was the Monegask who would win the game, Norris finished after a failed undercut in second place and Renault-junior, Christian Lundgaard, finished third. The second race it was Alexander Albon who dominated and took the lead from start to finish. Charles came second with Luca Albon behind him, so the podium was taken by two Albons.

The second day of The Race For The World unfortunately yielded less money. The drivers collected 15.000 dollar this time, so the counter now stands at 48.000 dollar. Not even halfway the goal, but on Friday evening there will be one last chance during the last race of this event.
