Romain Grosjean also notices many of the effects of the coronavirus. He too is obliged to sit at home with his children and wife. The Swiss Haas driver knows how to enjoy himself by playing games with his children, racing a lot online and sharing his life on social media. Because the Frenchman sits at home, he has used his Instagram much more actively.

On social media Grosjean doesn't only get nice reactions, but that doesn't matter much to him, he says in an interview on Youtube with Kym Illman. "Of course, people always comment on what you do. Some of those people support me, but some also say stupid things". Grosjean shares various things on his Instagram, such as games with his children and how he sits behind his racing simulator at home.

Going through hard times together

According to Grosjean, social media is a good addition in this period. "Generally speaking, it's a good thing. We can share as much as we want and during these difficult times where everyone has to be at home, it's good that we show nice things".

Grosjean notices that everyone suffers from the situation, but that social media can give a certain feeling. "We are all in the same situation now. At the moment I think social media plays an important role in supporting us to get through these difficult times".
