Aston Martin participated unsuccessfully in some Formula 1 races in 1959 and in 1960. No points were scored and after the 1960 British Grand Prix, Aston Martin have not competed again as a constructor in Formula 1.

Aston Martin Red Bull Racing

Since the 2016 season, Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing have been working together. The sports car manufacturer's logo can be seen on Red Bull's Formula 1 cars. The Red Bull employees also helped with the construction of the Aston Martin Valkyrie.

As of 2018, Aston Martin has become the main sponsor of Red Bull. The name Red Bull Racing has also been changed to Aston Martin Red Bull Racing and the name Aston Martin got more prominent places on the car. What is striking is that Aston Martin's streetcars mostly drive with Mercedes technology, while Red Bull ran with Renault engines until 2018 and switched to Honda since 2019.

New Adventure

The agreement that Red Bull and Aston Martin have runs until 2020. Lawrence Stroll, Racing Point owner and father of Lance Stroll, seems interested in Aston Martin shares and the current Mercedes team may be renamed, Aston Martin.
