In just under three months time, the Formula 1 circus will visit Vietnam for the very first time. The renovations are still taking place, but the images show that aspects of the circuit are now starting to be completed.

Still plenty to be done

Although the images show a nearly complete pit-building, it still looks like there's lots of work to be done. In the zoomed-out shot, we can see more of the track. The tarmac is down, but items like tyre walls, kerbs and sponsor boards are yet to appear. They expect to have "near majority completion" by the end of January.

The new photos focus on the large pit-building which looks modern and luxurious. The garages at the bottom look like they only need finishing touches.

"This is an important moment in the development of the Hanoi Circuit and another vital milestone in the lead up to Vietnam's first-ever F1 race weekend," said Vietnam GP CEO Le Ngoc Chi.

"Like the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long and the Pavilion of the Constellation of Literature which have inspired the pit building's design, we hope this structure will become another iconic Hanoi landmark."
