Max Verstappen on Red Bull extension: "I want to win with Red Bull"

Earlier this morning Red Bull Racing announced that Max Verstappen will stay with the team until at least 2023. The Dutchman is very happy to be staying and believes that Honda coming onboard and their success was a key part in his decision to stay. 

“I am really happy to extend my partnership with the team,” said Verstappen. “Red Bull believed in me and gave me the opportunity to start in Formula 1, which I have always been very grateful for.

“Honda coming onboard and the progress we have made over the last 12 months gives me even more motivation and the belief we can win together. I respect the way Red Bull and Honda work together and from all sides everyone is doing what they can to succeed.

"I want to win with Red Bull and our goal is, of course, to fight for a world championship together.”

Verstappen's desire for success is no secret and the trio of himself, Red Bull and Honda will work tirelessly until they win a world championship.
