Alex Albon: "The gap is shrinking and it looks positive for next year"

Alex Albon is looking forward to 2020 and believes that he will be more competitive after more time at Red Bull Racing. Albon will look forward to the winter testing where he can have an input into how the car is set up for the season. The 23-year-old believes that 2020 will be a good year for him. 

"I feel that next year will be a somewhat more normal year," said Albon on the Red Bull Racing website. "This year was my first year and it was certainly not normal. It was also my first year with Honda and the relationship with them is fantastic. The pace of work and the chemistry between everyone simply shows the passion we all have."

Albon believes that Red Bull can be competitive and that 2020 could be his year to excel. 

"We have a good platform to work with, which is very important in view of the development of the car and we want to take the next step in this. It is all going in the right direction and I want to be at the forefront next year."
