Valentino Rossi and Lewis Hamilton swapped seats last week and the MotoGP legend has been reflecting on his time in an F1 car and hopes for more four-wheel opportunities in the future.

Rossi finished seventh in the 2019 MotoGP Championship but is a seven-time World Champion in the category despite not winning a title since 2009.

Rossi got the opportunity to drive Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes F1 car with the Brit taking to two wheels. The Italian thinks it would be cool to see Hamilton's teammate, Valtteri Bottas get on a motorbike as well.

"It was very nice. I felt like a Formula 1 driver, I enjoyed it. Formula 1 is surreal, almost supernatural," Rossi told Sky Sports Italia.

"If Bottas wanted to run with Viñales, I think it would be good! There would be two partner pairs, Hamilton-Rossi in Formula 1 and Viñales-Bottas in MotoGP ”, he joked.

Rossi is hoping for more opportunities on four wheels as he gets older and set out a list of potential races, targeting the 24-hour series.

"I have always said that when I leave the motorcycles, I would like to be ten years in the world of cars. We have observed the level a bit and I think these would be the most suitable cars for me," he added.

"I would like to do five or six races a year The 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 24 Hours of Spa, which is perhaps the most beautiful track with these cars. But also the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, which is a circuit that I love."
