Wolff reflects on "remarkable" ten years with Petronas

For ten years, Mercedes and Petronas have overseen six Drivers' and Constructors' doubles. Toto Wolff has been reflecting on the partnership as he and the team visited Kuala Lumpur.

In 2019 Mercedes strolled to another title as both Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas enjoyed their most successful seasons in Formula 1. It was the team's six consecutive title double and Hamilton's third title in a row, his fifth with Mercedes.

Following their title celebrations, the team had the opportunity to visit Kuala Lumpur and the Petronas team where Toto Wolff reflected on their decade long partnership.

"PETRONAS have been our partner for a decade now, they've been by our side from day one," Wolff told the Mercedes website.

“It's remarkable what we've achieved together in those ten years; we wrote Formula One history together: Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Motorsport is the first team in F1 to win six consecutive double titles and we could not have done this without PETRONAS by our side."

“They keep pushing the boundaries and work hand in hand with our technical team to extract as much performance as possible from our package. It makes me very proud to see what we have achieved together in the past ten years and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us."
