Timo Glock gives advice to Lewis Hamilton: Stay at Mercedes

Timo Glock believes that Lewis Hamilton should stay with Mercedes for the rest of his career. The former F1 driver believes that nothing positive would come from switching teams. There has been much speculation stating that Hamilton could switch teams and drive for Ferrari in the future. 

"If he would switch, he could only lose," Glock said to FOCUS. "If he fails to become the Ferrari world champion, then those five or six world titles are no longer worth much, as he would always be measured by his last year in Formula 1. The smartest way is to write history with Mercedes. That makes more sense at this stage."

The German also gave his opinion on the Sebastian Vettel situation. 

"That is not easy, it is difficult for both Ferrari and Vettel. Every year it becomes more difficult because the pressure keeps getting higher. Ferrari had a really good package in the last two years, not as strong as Mercedes, but they have unnecessary points.

"They will have to do it next year, otherwise, it will be very difficult for Vettel to motivate themselves."

It will be interesting to see what both Hamilton and Vettel do at such a significant moment in both of their careers.
