Max Verstappen feels that it's going to be difficult for Aston Martin Red Bull Racing to secure a race victory in the final four races of the season, with Mercedes and Ferrari well clear at the top of the standings. The Dutchman won two races earlier in the season in Austria and Germany.

The 22-year-old is currently fourth in the drivers' standings, just nine points behind Charles Leclerc with races in Mexico, USA, Brazil and Abu Dhabi to finish the season.

"We must remain realistic," Verstappen said during the presentation of a TAG Heuer watch in Amsterdam.

"The last two seasons have gone very well, but this year, so far, we have had more difficulties, especially with the balance of the car. "

"I do not expect that we can win again [before the end of the season]. When you see the Ferrari and their speed in straight lines, it's just impressive. "

Red Bull Racing are 110 points behind Ferrari in the constructors' championship and remain well clear of their nearest challenger for third, McLaren over 200 points further back.
