In 2019, Aston Martin Red Bull Racing invested a whopping £304.2m into their Formula 1 campaign; the most they've spent since being taken over by the famous energy drink brand took over.

With Formula 1 cars made, created and developed the year prior to when they race, the latest accounts for Red Bull Technology show that the cost of F1 has increased by 8.9%.

Red Bull are without a title in Formula One since 2013, with Mercedes completely taking over their dominance in the past six seasons. Despite Max Verstappen showing glimpses of how good the Red Bull's RB15 can be; it seems the team are still unable to deliver their full potential.

The team have been consistently behind Ferrari and Mercedes in the championships, and this season, that shows no sign of stopping, with the Silver Arrows already winning the championship and the Prancing Horse comfortably ahead of the third-place team.

Red Bull have won two races this season, with Verstappen winning in Austria at their home circuit and then topping a bizarre, albeit wet race in Germany a few weeks later.

Last season, Red Bull won one more race than previous seasons and their drivers receives bonuses as a result. Also, salary payments increased to 1.8% to £84.4m, with team principal Christian Horner the highest-paid director with an annual income of £3.4m, the Independent report.
