On the latest episode of the Undercut, the GPblog podcast, we debate whether this current Mercedes dynasty is the most dominant in Formula 1 history as we review the Japanese Grand Prix, where the Silver Arrows sealed their sixth consecutive double championship.

We take a deeper dive into 'Super Sunday' at Suzuka, where both qualifying as well as the race were held with just three hours between them. Plenty of stories and performances to tackle, as Valtteri Bottas took his first win since Baku 12 rounds ago and Carlos Sainz moved into P6 in the drivers' championship. Max Verstappen also got rammed off the track by the understeering Charles Leclerc, who wasn't penalised until after the race. And that's just scratching the surface!

Looking ahead, we look ahead to the Mexican Grand Prix next week, where Lewis Hamilton can clinch his sixth drivers' championship should results fall his way on a track where Verstappen has won the last two races.

We also take time to answer questions from the fans, and finally, of course, our two experts go head to head in the Hot Take section, where they debate what F1 team dynasty was the most dominant in F1 history.

So, more than enough to look forward to! Have a listen below, and reach out to us on Twitter @GPblog_com if you have any questions or comments, or just leave a comment below!
