Kimi Raikkonen is in the midst of his worse spell since joining Alfa Romeo Racing having failed to score a single point since the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Finn has admitted the team have to learn from their recent struggles and understand what is going wrong.

Raikkonen had been one of the standout drivers in the first half of the season. However, Kimi's last points came in a seventh place finish at the Hungarian Grand Prix but since the summer break, he has struggled. The Finn has dropped to 13th in the Drivers' Championship behind the likes of Kvyat, Perez and Hulkenberg.

The Fin was honest in his assessment of his form since F1 returned at the Belgian Grand Prix and wants to get to the bottom of the issue.

“We have to learn from the past four races. They were real nightmares," Raikkonen said on the F1 website.

"We have to understand what went wrong and what it was about.

The former Ferrari driver concludes: “Of the last races, we really only had speed in Spa. For the rest, it was quite a help.”
