Russian Grand Prix provisional starting grid - Leclerc pole, Sainz P5!

With qualifying in the books and Charles Leclerc grabbing his fourth pole position on the bounce, here is how the grid is provisionally lining up, with all grid penalties taken into consideration!

Record-breaking Leclerc

For the first time since Michael Schumacher, a Ferrari driver has put the red car on pole position for four races in a row. In Japan, Leclerc can become the first F1 driver since a certain Sebastian Vettel to get pole position five times in a row.

That Vettel looked to be lining up on the front row of the grid with Leclerc for tomorrow's grid, until Lewis Hamilton came in and snatched that place right out of the German's hands. A repeat of Singapore!

Penalties

Looking down, Max Verstappen has a grid penalty which drops him from fourth to ninth, bumping Carlos Sainz into P5. Verstappen's teammate Alexander Albon binned his RB15 in Q1, meaning he'll start from P19, just in front of Daniil Kvyat, who has taken a host of penalties.

The Russian's teammate Pierre Gasly is the last driver who has a penalty for now, with the Frenchman qualifying in 11th but dropping to 16th, giving Sergio Pérez 'mini-pole'.

This is how the entire grid will line up tomorrow, barring any extra injuries!
