Lewis Hamilton has admitted that he's learning ways on how to race against Ferraris' Charles Leclerc. The 21-year-old has won both races in Belgium and Italy since the summer break to show that he's now a serious threat against the Brit.

Leclerc led throughout the race at Monza, fighting off Hamilton on numerous occasions as he secured his 2nd career victory.

“There is no lack of respect between drivers,” Hamilton said as quoted by Racer.

“We don’t have a problem; we are not in a fight. I congratulated him when he got out of the car. Charles is one of the most respectful drivers.

“(Monza) is the first time I have gone wheel-to-wheel with him, and with a new driver you learn how they approach different scenarios and maybe position your car differently next time.

Maybe I will do a better job next time.”

Hamilton still sits well clear at the top of the drivers' standings but Leclerc is slowly but surely working his way up the standings.
