Charles Leclerc has now recorded back-to-back wins in Formula 1 after a controlled drive under serious pressure in front of the Ferrari home fans. The 21-year-old had both Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas breathing down his neck at different points in the Grand Prix.

Even though the victory went to Leclerc, Sebastian Vettel's spin cost Ferrari plenty of points. As happened in Belgium, both Mercedes drivers managed to step onto the podium to give themselves the biggest gain in the championship. This weekend, Vettel failed to score a point.

Renault also had a positive weekend with Daniel Ricciardo and Nico Hulkenberg finishing in P4 and P5. This haul of points has helped them close the gap to McLaren in the battle for 'best of the rest'.
