Max Verstappen will be fitted with a new engine for the Italian Grand Prix and will, therefore, start from the back of the grid. The forecast for Sunday's race is set to mimic that of FP1 and Christian Horner is hoping for that to come true.

At Sky Sports, the Brit believes that Friday's circumstances could come in handy during the race. “If the weather keeps changing, then anything can happen here. You can catch up very well at Monza."

Even if it doesn't rain, there are chances of overtakes according to Horner. “That is the reason that we have taken the grid penalty here in Italy for Max. So a strategic decision," the Brit emphasises.

Verstappen is not the only one with a grid penalty: Lando Norris will also be put back after an engine change.
