Charles Leclerc topped practice ahead of teammate Sebastian Vettel in Belgium as Ferrari made it the perfect Friday at Spa-Francorchamps.

Leclerc, who was second to Vettel in FP1 earlier on Friday was six tenths quicker than the German, who last took a victory here one year ago.

Ferrari look the quickest car in Belgium, with Mercedes and Red Bull battling behind.

Mercedes seemed to have the upper hand on Red Bull, with Bottas and Hamilton sitting third and fourth.

Max Verstappen was back in sixth place, with new Red Bull man Alex Albon down in tenth.

It was a positive session for Racing Point, until about five minutes from the end.

With new upgrades in the car and a new Mercedes engine in the back, Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll were fifth and eighth respectively until both encountered problems.

Stroll felt something hot in his seat and returned to the garage, whilst Perez stopped on track with an engine problem, red flagging the session and causing an early end.

It was a quiet session for midfield leaders McLaren, who had Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris 11th and 15th.

Pierre Gasly's first day back as a Toro Rosso driver didn't go exactly to plan, as he finished 17th in FP2 after being 18th in FP1 earlier.
