Formula 1 returns this weekend as the grid travel to Belgium following the summer break as Round 13 of the 2019 season takes place. It's time to preview the race for McLaren and look at how they are looking heading into the race weekend.

Round 13

Where:  Spa-Francorchamps

When: 30 August - 1 Sept

Start time: 15:10 local, 14:10 BST

Laps:  44

Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris currently sit 7th and 10th in the drivers' standings respectively, with McLaren themselves fourth in the constructors.

With the racing set to get back underway this weekend, Sainz has admitted that he was glad to have a break over the summer.

“It’s been good to take a break over the summer and to see family and friends after a busy first half of the year. Everyone in the team deserved some time off. With batteries recharged, it’s time to go back racing!" , Sainz said in the McLaren preview.

Norris, on the other hand, is ready to go after taking some time away but is glad that the racing is back.

I’m really excited to get back in the car again. It was nice to take some time out and recharge, but I’m ready to go again. I’ll be working flat-out for the rest of the season, getting prepared for the races ahead with my engineers and making sure I’m on top of the fly-aways to come at tracks that I’ve never raced on."

The action commences in Belgium on Friday at 10:00 am UK time with the first practice session before the second one follows at 14:00 pm.
