Summer break grades: How have Williams done so far this season?

21-08-2019 14:20

Williams are at the bottom of the constructor's championship and have a single point to their name. They have really struggled to perform and will be hoping this season ends as soon as possible so that they forget about it and move on.

Williams 4/10

It has been a really difficult season for Williams. They are so much slower than the rest of the grid and spend much of the race weekend right at the bottom of the pack.

However, despite the dire circumstances, the team have remained strong and have a clear identity. Their pitstops are amongst the fastest of all the teams and the core of the team are still performing well, it's just the performance which is lacking.

They will hope to upgrade their package and become more competitive after the summer break.

George Russell 7/10

The young Brit is in his first season in Formula 1 and has impressed many with his consistent performances. He consistently out qualifies his teammate and finishes high that Robert Kubica most races.

He will hope that the car improves and that he is given a real opportunity to show his speed after the summer break.

Robert Kubica 6/10

Considering the journey Kubica has had to go through to get back into Formula 1, it is remarkable that he is able to perform at the level he does. He has struggled to beat his teammate but has won Williams' only point. He will have to improve a lot after the summer break if he is to hold onto his seat.
