Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen is hoping to be driving in Formula 1 in 15 years' time when he's 36-years-old, he has revealed.

Verstappen, 21, is one of F1's finest young talents, being arguably the best driver on the grid at such a young age. The Dutchman has admitted that he'd like to be dricing in the motorsport competition until he's 36.

"So I'm 21 now. I hope I'll be in F1 for another 15 years. Yeah, until I'm 36," Verstappen revealed to Motorsport Magazine"You also have to remember that I started when I was 17, so a bit earlier than some.

"I guess it depends also on how competitive you still are at 36. If you're still in a championship-winning car, fighting for podiums, then yes. Obviously I'm not going to drive at the back.

"If you've achieved victories and podiums, when I'm 36 I'm not going to stay here just to drive last. That's for sure."

Verstappen has impressed so far this season, being Lewis Hamilton's main rival with Valtteri Bottas of course, but the Dutchman has been in imperious form over the last few races.

The Red Bull driver has won two out of the last four races, with a fantastic comeback victory in Austria, and a faultless performance at a soaking wet Hockenheimring.
