Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has claimed he has not felt any pressure since making his move to the Italian team from Sauber at the start of the season.

Leclerc made the move to Ferrari after just one season in Formula 1, but the Monegasque driver was so impressive for Sauber in his rookie F1 season, that the Maranello-based squad decided to replace the veteran Kimi Raikkonen with the exciting youngster.

For all of Ferrari's woes this season, Leclerc has been a bright spark in 2019. However, Leclerc is yet to win a race for Ferrari - with the team as a whole winless in a Mercedes-dominated season.

Two pole positions in Bahrain and Austria for Leclerc maybe indicates that he has felt the weight of expectation a bit since moving to Scuderia, but the 21-year-old has insisted he "doesn't really feel" any pressure.

"The pressure, I really don't feel it," the Ferrari driver said. "Obviously being a Ferrari driver is always a dream come true, but it also is quite a lot more work.

"You need to work as hard as possible, when you come into a top team in general. There are a lot of people, you need to be understanding and learning how to work with so many people at the beginning coming from a smaller team.

"This has been the biggest challenge for me."
