Alex Albon is looking forward to getting back to work at the Hungarian Grand Prix after the Toro Rosso team had the best result of their season at the German Grand Prix last time out.

Amongst all the chaos Daniil Kvyat secured his first podium since finishing third at the 2016 Chinese Grand Prix and Albon himself finished in sixth. The Thai driver's felt there was more potential from the race but was nevertheless satisfied with the result.

Following their successful race at the Hockenheimring, Toro Rosso sit fifth in the Constructors' Championship and Albon reflected on their best showing this season.

"After such a great result for the team last week in Germany, I can’t wait to hit the track again this weekend. It was great to finish sixth which was the best result of my career, even if I thought there was more on the table!" Albon said.

With the Hungarian Grand Prix the conclusion for the season's second double-header, Albon also reflected on some of his highlights from the venue as well as hinting a possible plan for the weekend.

"I’ve had mixed fortunes here in the past, the highlights being winning the GP3 sprint race in 2016 and the F2 sprint last year.

"Racing here can be frustrating if you are stuck in the pack as it is difficult to overtake, so this will be a weekend where we really have to prioritise Qualifying," Albon added.
