Max Verstappen picked up his second win of the season at the German Grand Prix cementing his position as third in the Driver's Championship. The result also means that he has extended his lead in the F1 Power Rankings leaderboard.

Verstappen's victory in Hockenheim was of such a class that the panel of experts on the official Formula 1 website gave him a perfect score just like in Austria. Because of those 50 points, he now stands at an average of 45.7. He is therefore ahead of Lewis Hamilton, who got only 31 points for his performance in Germany and now stands at an average of 43.2.

The panel gave their reasoning for Verstappen's perfect score: "There is simply no one who is operating consistently at his level at the moment."

Carlos Sainz holds onto third place. Daniil Kvyat is, of course, a big winner after Germany. With a score of 47, he rises to eighth place. The major absentee in the top 10 is still Sebastian Vettel. His score of 42 was just not enough to pass George Russell in P10.
