This weekend Formula 1 heads to Hockenheimring for the German Grand Prix. The weekend will begin on Friday where the teams will head out for two practice sessions followed by qualifying a further practice session and qualifying on Saturday with the race taking place on Sunday. Here is a preview of all the times you need to know this weekend.

Mercedes will come into the Grand Prix with a chassis upgrade and will hope to impress in front of their home crowd in Germany. After another one-two finish at Silverstone last time out, they will be feeling confident of continuing their dominance and extending their championship lead.

Ferrari will hope to have closed the gap to the Silver Arrows and Sebastian Vettel will be hoping that the support from his home fans will give him the extra boost he needs. Charles Leclerc will look to repeat his qualifying performance and will be looking to claim another pole position for the Italian team.

Red Bull will hope to repeat the result that they had at the Austrian Grand Prix and will hope that the heatwave due to hit Germany on Wednesday stays until the weekend and that Mercedes have the same overheating issues they had at the Red Bull Ring.

The midfield battle will be as tight as ever and McLaren will be having a tough job of keeping the Renaults behind them.
