Charles Leclerc wants racing to be more consistent now the standard has been set following his and Max Verstappen's battle at the Austrian Grand Prix.

On that occasion, Verstappen came out on top, forcing Leclerc off the track at turn three of the Red Bull Ring. After a long investigation from the stewards, Max Verstappen was handed the victory, which caused conflicted opinions due to the events of the Canadian Grand Prix.

Leclerc was on the wrong end of the investigation this time around and is still hunting for his first win of the season and his career. However, he has no complaints and just wants consistent racing.

"I'm happy that we can now race like this," Leclerc said at Silverstone as quoted by the PitPass.

"I just want it to be consistent. If it's consistent, I'm very happy to be racing like this.

"As drivers, we always try to be as close as the rules limit us to be. So I will definitely change a little bit and adjust a little bit my aggressivity."

"We just need to know what we can expect from the others, and on that, I think that's why I would like probably more consistency on the penalties.
