Alfa Romeo picked up three points in what was a much needed positive weekend for the team in Austria. Kimi Raikkonen believes this will sort of form will continue into the British Grand Prix weekend as they look to challenge Renault in the constructors' championship.

"As a team, we have shown improvement in the last couple of races and I think Britain is another place where we can do well," a confident Raikkonen expressed.

Up until the Austrian Grand Prix, Raikkonen had scored all of the points for Alfa Romeo during the 2019 Formula 1 season. The 39-year-old is showing no signs of getting old on track, but he's still very traditional when it comes to his taste in circuits.

"Silverstone is always a good place to come back to. It's an old-school track and it's quite fun to drive, especially in the fast corners. As always, we will need to do a perfect job because the margins are very small between teams, but I am confident we can have another good result," Raikkonen added.
