Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff is expecting a "much better" race weekend for his team this time around at Silverstone than we saw in Austria.

Mercedes suffered with overheating issues in the race at the Red Bull Ring - meaning its winning streak had to come to an end - with Valtteri Bottas finishing P3 and Lewis Hamilton a couple of places behind him.

However, Wolff remains hopeful for a strong reaction from his Mercedes team when it arrives in Great Britain for this weekend's race at Silverstone.

"I'm really hoping for the typical English weather at Silverstone so we can gain a little bit of time to sort our problems out," Wolff joked to RaceFans"There is no alternative than to fix our problems for the coming hot races, Hockenheim and Budapest. There is no other option."

Wolff also believes Ferrari's superior power unit should not be as effective at Silverstone, due to it not being such a power-sensitive track.

"The power deployment maybe isn't as much of a differentiator through the fast corners so I think Silverstone should be much more to our liking," Wolff continued. "Maybe not as much as Paul Ricard, but better than Austria."
