Grosjean could pay for his poor form at "crisis" Haas

It has been a difficult season so far for Haas and Romain Grosjean could pay for his poor form. At least that is the view of former racing driver, Jason Watt, the Dane believes "Haas is in crisis" and that Grosjean's spell with the team could be coming to an end.

Haas is the second bottom team in the Constructors' Championship, sitting only above Williams who is yet to score a point. Kevin Magnussen has had the most success for the team this season, scoring 14 points with Romain Grosjean only scoring two.

Haas has struggled with maintaining a competitive race pace and have been extremely vocal about the tyre situation they have struggled with. Watt believes the team are in a very bad place and they are not being rewarded for their qualifying pace.

“Kevin may have done the finest single lap of the weekend, but he got no reward the following day. Haas is in crisis,” Watt told Ekstra Bladet.

"Haas is in crisis."

“At least the qualifying was super good marketing, which must irritate Helmut Marko.”

Grosjean's form has been particularly bad and Watt feels the Frenchman's seat is in jeopardy, adding:  “I do not think he will be extended for 2020.”
