We're just over an hour away from the French Grand Prix at the Circuit Paul Ricard! Do you need to know how the grid officially lines up, including penalties? We have you covered!

Qualifying recap

Lewis Hamilton grabbed his 60th pole position in Mercedes colours on Saturday afternoon, with Valtteri Bottas securing the 63rd Mercedes one-two in team history. The duo once again proved how far the Silver Arrows are ahead of the other teams, with Ferrari's Charles Leclerc coming the closest in P3.

Leclerc's teammate Sebastian Vettel had a very frustrating afternoon in the south of France, failing to set a time in his first run in Q3 and only coming in seventh in his final run. He'll start behind both McLaren cars, who impressively qualified P5 and P6, and Max Verstappen in P4. Lando Norris' P5 is the best McLaren qualifying result since Jenson Button qualified third at a soaking wet Spielberg in 2016.

Further back on the grid, home team Renault had one representative in Daniel Ricciardo in P8, with teammate Nico Hülkenberg not getting through Q2 as the German will start from P13.

Lance Stroll made it 12 straight times without getting through Q1, with the Canadian youngster qualifying 18th. He'll start from P17, however, with Daniil Kvyat having picked up a grid penalty for replacing his power unit for the third time.
