It's Canadian Grand Prix time! At 7:10pm (UK time) it'll be lights out, so here are five things we have picked out that you should keep your eyes on in today's race!

Vettel v Hamilton off the line

Always such a crucial part of an F1 race, how exciting is it to see Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton starting alongside each other on the front row? Whoever gets the better start could end up running away with the race, so watch out for who reacts first.

Bottas from P6

What can the Finn do from his lowest grid position of the season? His qualifying yesterday was a disaster, but in the Mercedes, we fancy him to move up a few positions and who knows, by later this evening we could see him on the podium.

Verstappen charging through the field

Max Verstappen was caught out by Kevin Magnussen’s huge crash at the end of Q2, qualifying only 11th. However, he will start in ninth after Carlos Sainz’s penalty and Magnussen starting from the pitlane. He’ll be expected to push through the field quickly and his progress will be something to watch out for.

Renault v McLaren in the midfield

Renault need to catch up if they want to secure fourth for a second year in a row, with McLaren having the better of the season so far. However, with Daniel Ricciardo and Nico Hulkenberg 4th and 7th, ahead of McLaren’s Lando Norris in 8th and Carlos Sainz in 11th after his penalty. From their strong starting position, the French team will be looking to score some valuable points.

The Wall of Champions

It was Magnussen yesterday, but will anyone be unfortunate enough to slam into the famous Wall of Champions on the exit of the final chicane in the race today? It’s a tough corner to get right, and we won’t be surprised to see someone hit that wall today!
