Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has said he's understood every single tactical call from the Italian team so far, even though he admits he will try to change the "hierarchy" in Maranello.

There have been several instances this season where Leclerc has been sacrificed to give his teammate Sebastian Vettel the advantage.

In Australia, Leclerc was behind Vettel in P5 but clearly quicker than the German. Still, he was ordered to stand down and finish behind the four-time champion. In China, two Grands Prix later, Leclerc was told to let Vettel past at the start of the race.

"I have to show on the track what I can do, hopefully that can change the situation someday," the 21-year-old told Auto Motor und Sport about the hierarchy at Ferrari.

When it comes to the team orders, the Monegasque thinks the calls have been reasonable so far.

"Up until now I've understood every decision, even though it's hard to accept as a driver. The men on the pit wall have a better overview of the race. So, up to a certain point, I'll do what's being asked of me."

However, this doesn't mean the youngster won't try to change the situation he's in.

"I understand there's a certain hierarchy here right now, but I'll do everything I can to change that. Like every other driver, I just want to be the quickest."
