Robert Kubica is doubtful that his Williams team will be able to take advantage of any chaos that ensues in this weekend’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix, because they are simply too slow.

Williams are way off the pace of anyone else on the F1 grid and unsurprisingly failed to score a point this season.

However, the Baku street circuit has shown in the last three years that anything is possible, but despite this, the Pole doubts that they will be able to steal some points.

He said: “Baku showed already in the past that anything is possible but I think we are too far off from the pack to think about it.”

“Last year I think we were much closer to the others than we are this year, at least looking at our first three races.

“So from one point yes everything can happen here, from the other probably from what we have seen in the first three races I would say it would be very difficult, or nearly impossible.”
