George Russell has revealed that he and his teammate Robert Kubica are struggling to handle the Williams FW41 at corner entry, as the pair continue to search for their first notable result of the season.

Both Williams' drivers have come last and second last of the drivers that finished the race at all three Grand Prix so far. Russell was almost two seconds ahead of the Polish driver Kubica at the Chinese Grand Prix but the rookie was still well off the pace.

Russell who has impressed, despite being in the slowest car on the grid highlighted what might be the issue.

"Right now, Robert and I are having big problems with how the car behaves at the corner entry and in the middle of the curve compared to the exit," Russell said in an interview on Motorsport-Total.com.

"It's very different in every area, which makes driving so difficult.

"It's mostly aero, but also a bit mechanical, I'd say 75 too 25.

"There will be upgrades, just like any team.

"It's not like we have something special.

"I definitely have not managed to improve qualifying in the last two races, and I think I still need to understand and respect the limitations of the car," he added.
