Daniel Ticktum is set to make his Formula 1 debut at the first in-season test of the year in Bahrain for Red Bull Racing.

Ticktum has driven non-contemporary F1 cars, being a member of the Red Bull junior side since 2017. The 19-year-old enjoyed a successful Formula 3 season last year, finishing second.

The young Londoner made his Formula 2 debut during the last round of the 2018 F1 season in Abu Dhabi. Ticktum is continuing his motorsport career - now driving in the Japanese Super Formula championship with Honda for Mugen Motorsport.

Ticktum, despite being so young, has had a relatively controversial start to his motorsport career - with the Red Bull junior driver being banned from motorsport for two years after an incident in an MSA Formula race at Silverstone in 2015.

But Ticktum will take to the Bahrain International Circuit at the weekend, driving alongside Max Verstappen, who will be in the other RB15.
