Who slept well/badly after the Australian Grand Prix

We've all had the chance to catch some shut-eye since the Australian Grand Prix. We take a look at how teams and drivers are feeling after having a nights sleep (or a sleepless night in some cases!)

So who slept well?

Valtteri Bottas

He absolutely smashed it! What a start for the Finn! The nightmares and frustrations of last season have all vanished after one race. He launched himself off the grid and wasn't seen again. Oh, and he also scored an extra point with the fastest lap. Providing Bottas didn't go too heavy with the celebrations, he'd have had some sweet dreams and had a spring in his step on Monday morning.

Max Verstappen

A statistic that's gone missing. That was the Dutchman's sixth straight podium finish, the most out of the current field. Ahead of his first race with the Honda engine, he surely would have had some negative worries in the back of his mind, but they've been cancelled out as Red Bull prove they've still got a podium car.

Toto Wolff

He was concerned ahead of this race weekend. Everyone expected Ferrari to be out on top, but it really didn't go that way. His Mercedes team dominated proceedings in Australia and he'll have fewer worries on his mind when he went to sleep.

Lance Stroll

Another driver who may have gone unnoticed in Sunday's Grand Prix. Stroll started 16th, but climbed up to 9th and finished ahead of his team-mate. The Canadian has plenty of critics around, and to answer them straight away must feel good for him!

Who slept badly?

Sebastian Vettel

Frustrations, pain and confusion. Expect Vettel to be full of those feelings as he settled down for the night. In the previews, this was meant to be Vettel's race, but the Ferrari didn't even trouble the Mercedes drivers. A winter full of optimism suddenly cancelled out.

Daniel Ricciardo

Not the way he would have wanted to start his career at Renault, or indeed any race at home. For the majority of the race, he had to sit in his garage and watch his old team-mate drive to a podium finish and almost catch up with Lewis Hamilton. Doubts in his mind?

Romain Grosjean

He said it himself: "Australia doesn't like me". In a similar style to last season's race, his wheel wasn't put on correctly by the Haas pit crew. Though this year it didn't trouble Kevin Magnussen.
