Jean Todt has praised Mich Schumacher saying that he has great skills as a driver but he is also yet to be 'spoiled' by Formula 1. The young Schumacher has targetted Formula 1 as a goal and is making the right steps forward to ensure he achieves his goal. However, Todt believes that he should be left alone to develop at his own pace.

"I'm very happy, it's Michael's son Mick, I've known him since he was a baby," said Todt to Fi.com.

"I love him, he's a great character and we must leave him in peace. He's demonstrating to be a very talented driver.

"On top of that, he's a very nice boy, very humble, very well-educated. I will follow him very closely as I've always been doing.

"He's a simple, honest, loyal, good boy. He's not yet spoiled [by the world of F1]."

Mich Schumacher is now part of Ferrari's driver academy which is the right pathway for him to get a Formula 1 drive in the future.
