After a long season, 2024 comes to an end in Formula 1 at this weekend's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. According to Lando Norris, having the longest season is not at all 'tough' for the drivers, and underlined anyone who says that would be lying.

First the first time ever, a 24-weekend-long season was held in Formula 1. The first Grand Prix in Bahrain took place on 2 March, and the season will finish on 8 December.

According to McLaren driver Lando Norris, any driver says if it's tough for the drivers, they should be called out. "No, it's not tough for us as drivers. If the drivers say it's tough, they're lying, it's just nonsense. We live a great life, we get paid a great amount of money," the Briton began to GPblog among others.

He pointed out that for others, the situation is a lot worse. "The mechanics, the engineers, they're the ones who travel later, travel on worse flights, spend a lot more days working than what we do as drivers."

Norris concluded with a message for the journalists. "So next time a driver tells you and complains, tell them to shut up."
