Sky Sports announce pre-season test broadcast plans
Sky Sports have confirmed they will broadcast 20 hours of live action from the first F1 pre-season test in Barcelona next month. The coverage of pre-season comes as an extension to their package, which sees them hold exclusive rights for the 2019 season.
The 20-hours of coverage will be stretched across all four days of action in Barcelona. The coverage will start as the afternoon section of testing begins [1pm] and finish at 5pm [UK time]. A live analysis show will follow live from the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya paddock.
Pre-season testing begins on the 18th of February, with the first test ending on the 21st. Last year, running was limited in the opening test with snowfall on the track.
Oh yes. #SkyF1 to broadcast live coverage of the first winter test from Barcelona on February 18-21.
