Brown suggests McLaren's troubles are over ahead of 2019 season

After yet another rough season, McLaren's CEO Zak Brown believes his team are well on the "road to recovery". He suggests the mood in the camp is up and people will see the improvements in the car as soon as they go on track in February.

Earlier in the year, Brown pointed the blame at leadership change for their downfall over recent years. He reckons they've now steadied the ship as they work towards the 2019 season.

"We created a poor car for 2018. Our company has a lot of individual talent, a hundred people who have been with us for 20 years. We have not had the correct structure. That's what we want to correct," Brown told Mundo Deportivo.

Following a year down in the dumps which saw McLaren pick up 62 championship points, Brown feels confident moving forward the issues will get solved. He puts this down to the positivity inside the Woking workshop.

"We are now on the road to recovery. The spirit is good, development, teamwork, collaboration, communication and responsibilities are all going well, but until our car gets to the track, people will not be able to see the improvements we've made," Brown added.

"I think this year has been the low point. We are working hard to recover, but it will take a while."
