Gasly: Toro Rosso need to "revise everything" after disappointing Brazilian GP

According to Pierre Gasly, Toro Rosso needs to "revise everything" ahead of the Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi this weekend. A disappointing showing in Brazil saw no points for both drivers, despite Gasly making it into Q3.

Gasly, at this moment in time, says he can't pinpoint the reason behind Toro Rosso's struggles last time out. The future Red Bull driver will no doubt pass on vital information about the Honda engine during the winter break, but first, the Frenchman is keen on finding the current problem.

"We know the track [in Brazil] is really power sensitive, especially with the uphill section in the last straight, but it's fair to say that we're quite disappointed with the overall performance," Gasly explained to motorsport.

"Not in qualifying - it was fantastic to make it to Q3, which wasn't easy at all, but in the race, we showed really poor performance and at the moment I don't really have the answers. We need to revise everything."

Gasly denies the performance was solely down to an engine performance gap. He weighs up their current position and suggests Honda are equal to Renault, but still have work to do on lifting closer to Mercedes and Ferrari.

"At the moment there is still a deficit to Mercedes and Ferrari engines, I think it puts us with Renault and a bit more difficult situation," Gasly added.

Helmut Marko is so certain that the Red Bull Honda relationship is going to work, he's stated that Verstappen will become the youngest ever World Champion. We'll see...
