Fernando Alonso insists his return to the Indy500 will not be his only plans for the 2019 season. With WEC commitments running until June, the Spaniard has a busy start to the year but admits he's free in July and beyond.

Alonso will race in Sebring, Spa and Le Mans to complete the 2018/19 WEC season. He goes on to confirm he is preparing for different careers in motorsport and says he will do "many more"

"I will do many more, you will know step by step. [Indy500] is the first announcement. Apart from the three WEC races, I think there are [alsp] four tests," Alonso told Motorsport.

"If you add the three race weekends, there are already seven, until June, plus Indycar tests and the two weeks of the Indy500. If you see the calendar until June, there are only two or three weekends, even though it seems that there are not too many careers, there are many preparations for these. I'm looking forward to it."

Either way, Alonso surely couldn't make his 2019 season busier than 2018! The 37-year-old will leave Formula 1 at the end of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. What series would you like to see Alonso in? Let us know in the comments!
