With just four races to go in the 2018-season, Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton could be equalling a record which is currently shared by Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel; most wins in a season.

That record currently stands at 13 wins in a season; Schumacher won 13 out of 18 races in 2004, while Vettel also won 13 out of 18 in 2013 as he won his fourth consecutive title.

Hamilton's current win tally for the season is nine, which is four short of the record. With four races to go, he could equal the record which is shared by the two Germans. It's less impressive as the current calendar features 21 races rather than 18, when Vettel and Schumi did it, but it would be very impressive nonetheless.

It's pretty unrealistic for Hamilton to get to 13 wins, as he'll likely turn it down a notch as soon as he's captured his fifth championship. The same happened last season, with Valtteri Bottas winning a couple of races at the end of the season rather than Hamilton as team orders weren't relevant anymore.

Do you think Hamilton can do it? Or is it too little, too late for him?
