Toro Rosso will introduce new updates at the USA Grand Prix next month, with the side preparing a brand new front wing and a new fund.

Toro Rosso introduced a new front wing back in the Austrian Grand Prix; but its initial purpose wasn't met and they are looking to upgrade again.

The team were expected to try this solution in last weekend's Singapore Grand Prix - with the Marina Bay Street Circuit looking like the side's biggest chance to get some much needed points.

Toro Rosso driver Brendon Hartley admitted on race weekend in Singapore, that the team needs to introduce some new updates but him and his team mate Pierre Gasly were unaware of when they'd be given to them.

However, it looks like they're pretty imminent with Motorsport.com reporting that there will be a new fund and a new front wing for the Red Bull junior side, parts that were developed after learning from their mistakes with the last update.

Both these upgrades will be introduced in late October when the USA GP comes around.

"The next package we will produce a front wing upgrade and a fund upgrade," Toro Rosso deputy technical director, Jody Egginton said. "Some of the parts we have developed are the result of what we have learned with the previous front wing that has not made it as hope.

"The correlation and changes in the way we developed the car were in some ways driven by that front wing. It's a sort of continuation, even if that front wing at the end did not become part of our race package, it was incredibly useful in terms of developing the car."
