Max Verstappen has revealed that most of his best battles as an F1 driver were with his soon-to-be former teammate Daniel Ricciardo, as the two have often been their biggest rivals.

Ricciardo, of course, will be switching to Renault after this season, leaving the team for whom he's driven his entire F1-career so far; Red Bull.

Verstappen cherishes his time with Ricciardo, even though they've collided often times. Picking out his best fights as an F1-driver, the Dutchman looks back at a race earlier this season.

"My best fight? That's a good one," Verstappen told Motorsport in an exclusive interview.

"The first thing that comes to mind is my fight with Daniel in Malaysia 2016.

"And this year in Baku, I also had a good fight with him, until the crash.

"That was a real shame, but we were racing hard against each other until that point.

"Late braking, giving each other inches, and sometimes touching - it was fun."

As fans, we'll really miss the Verstappen-Ricciardo duels, but Pierre Gasly, the man who'll be replacing Ricciardo at Red Bull, will no doubt provide some good rivalry as well. Bring it on!
