Reports out of Holland suggested that Daniil Kvyat has already signed for Toro Rosso, but Red Bull advisor Dr Helmut Marko didn't want to comment on this, saying that the team will announce its line-up in Sochi in two weeks.

Kvyat is the heavy favourite for a seat at Toro Rosso, with both seats being up for grabs with Pierre Gasly leaving for Red Bull and Brendon Hartley not having impressed in his first full season.

Other candidates include Robert Kubica and Antonio Giovinazzi, but with the latter being a Ferrari junior driver, that looks unlikely.

Speaking to Sky Italia, Marko revealed that the line-up won't be made public until the Russian Grand Prix in two weeks time.

"It'll be one of those three, but I'll tell you in Sochi who it is," the 75-year-old said.

With the sources now piling up about Kvyat having signed, it seems like a formality, but we'll have to wait for the official announcement then.
