Williams driver Lance Stroll isn't looking too far ahead in regards to his Formula One future following links to a Force India switch before the end of this season.

The Canadian is set to switch alliances to Force India to link up with his dad, whose consortium recently bought the struggling team.

Stroll has already had his seat fitting with Force India, so things in that regard look pretty advanced already.

Despite all the speculation, the young Canadian driver is focusing on each race weekend as it comes and refuses to dwell on his future too much.

"We will see what the future holds. I'm just taking it weekend by weekend," Stroll told Crash.net. "When I put my helmet on, I'm a racing driver and whatever car I'm in, I'm just trying to get the most out of it.

"It's been a challenging year. For us a team we definitely not where we want to be.

"We have to enjoy a day like (Monza). They haven't come often this year. We definitely have to digest this good result and go to Singapore with a positive attitude."

Stroll rubished speculation that his and Williams' relationship has deteroriated since his father's takeover at Force India.

"We are very professional," Stroll added. "We have achieved success in the past. I have a great relationship with everyone upstairs, the engineering office and everyone in this team.

"We are still very close. We want to have a great rest of the year, for sure."
