The driver line-ups for next year are still being worked out, with Daniel Ricciardo’s move to Renault really putting a spanner in the works. Raikkonen, Leclerc, Hartley, Ocon, Vandoorne, where will all these guys end up?

One team that hasn’t been too involved in this crazy market is Haas. The American manufacturer seem to be pretty happy with their line-up of Kevin Magnussen and Romain Grosjean, despite there being some speculation about Grosjean’s future.

The Frenchman seems to be in Haas’ future plans after his recent return to form, with team boss Gunther Steiner suggesting that the team would stay loyal to Grosjean, considering his gamble to join the team in their first year.

Steiner is also happy that his team have not been involved in the market shake-up, saying that the American team are in a “comfortable position”.

He said: “We feel comfortable about where we are, the position we are, because we are not taking part of the madness, ‘we need this guy, but he wants to go there.'

“We are not part of this madness. We are in a good place. And I would love to announce it today who we have, but it’s just a few things we need to figure out, and then we will do it.

“We are very confident of the position we are in. We have nothing to hurry.”

Haas are currently fifth in the Constructors’ Championship, six points behind fourth-placed Renault as they look to secure by far their best finish in F1.
